  • Does a CE or UL certification issued in China carry the same recognition as done elsewhere?
  • Are your labs supervised by any overseas authorities?
  • Must we get a CE certification for our products?
  • What's the purpose of UL certification?
  • Can we specify a certain laboratory to do the certification?
  • What is the cost for doing such certifications?
  • (Does a CE or UL certification issued in China carry the same recognition as done elsewhere?) --- Absolutely. Hundreds of thousands of products exported from China every year are certified same way by these laboratories. (Back to Top)
  • (Are these labs supervised by any overseas authorities?) --- Yes, most of them are supervised by US UL, Timco, Rheinland, etc, or any other globally well respected certification agencies. (Back to Top)
  • (Must we get a CE certification for our products?) --- The CE Mark is a mandatory conformity symbol required for products sold in the European Economic Area. The CE mark indicates conformity to the legal requirements of the European Union (EU) Directive with respect to safety, health, environment, and consumer protection. (Back to Top)
  • (What's the purpose of UL certification?) --- The UL Mark is a registered certification mark of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL), an independent, non-profit, product safety testing and certification organization. The UL Mark on a product means that UL has tested and evaluated representative samples of that product and determined that it meets UL's own published Standards for Safety requirements. Safety-conscious and concerned consumers look for this on products because it means foreseeable risks associated with the product's use have been eliminated or minimized. (Back to Top)
  • (Can we specify a certain laboratory to do the certification?) --- Sure, if they are qualified to perform the concerned tests, but hopefully they have an office not too far from the factory, or the cost and time for the process will be unnecessarily increased. (Back to Top)
  • (What is the cost for doing such certifications? ) --- Really depends on the product and what sort of tests are required. A good average will be about US$20,000 ~ 40,000. BUT this is only a guideline. We will quote in each individual cases. (Back to Top)
